It's not economic. In this case, people tend to choose flat-bottomed silos and use screw conveyors for unloading.

The machine for cleaning screws consists mainly of blades, a screw shaft, a screw, partitions and a transfer device. The machine used to clean the screws does not have the outer casing of the conventional screw conveyor and the ends of the support bearings. One end of the screw shaft is fixed to the transfer device, which is installed in the center of the steel silo, and the other end is not fixed. The auger blade is welded to the screw shaft. The partitions are attached to the screw shaft through the screw. This can change the properties of the material. For materials with stringent requirements, this is not applicable. To change this situation, a screw loading mechanism of steel silo has been developed.

It includes an upper bracket and a lower bracket, respectively located horizontally in the lid and bottom of the silo. The transport plate is spirally mounted on the support shaft in the order from top to bottom. The central position of the transport plate forms a shallow groove. The outer edge of the transport plate is provided with a partition. The device is simple in a structure that can effectively avoid damaging the brittle material. In this case, the material enters the silo and falls onto the screw of the transport plate, connected to the loading inlet. The material will spirally flow along the transport plate downward and slide to the bottom of the silo, which can slow the rate of fall of the material and prevent its destruction.
